Driving school for movie stars
Toyota has presented a redesigned version of the Land Cruiser at the Frankfurt Motor Show ahead of its release, planned to be by the end of this year.
Externally, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2018 has become more like its older brother - the Land Cruiser 200. This is eloquently evidenced by the characteristic frame of the front grille, new headlights, fog lights, mudguard and hood, as well as the design of the wheels.
The interior is primarily attractive due to a significantly updated dashboard and a three-spoke steering wheel. On the center console appears an 8-inch display navigation system, the Toyota Touch 2.
The engine remains the same - a 2.7 liter benzene engine which produces 163 HP, a 4.0 liter benzene which produces 282 HP, and a turbodiesel - 2.8 liter engine producing 177 HP.
In addition to the manual transmission, the six-speed automatic gear is also available.
Depending on the type of suspension, the new Land Cruiser Prado is available with three to five modes: in addition to the standard Eco / Normal / Sport, for the first time the Sport S / Sport S + are also available which affect the characteristics of the steering, gearboxes and shock absorbers. Also for the first time, the Land Cruiser Prado has a system of circular review from big brother Land Cruiser 200 with the function of "transparent hood" available.
The Toyota also includes an adaptive cruise control, an emergency braking system, as well as a system that keeps the car on a specified lane.
The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2018 is perfectly prepared for both the hot summer and the cold winter. The cabin features a three-zone climate control which helps heat and cool the seats and interior based on the climate demands.
As for the operation in the cold snowy winter, the automobile has a pre-heater, an additional heater in the cabin, heated front and rear seats, and heated exterior mirrors.
